Beekeeping in France

Back in 2007 we gingerly tip-toed into the world of beekeeping here in France,  wanting to discover more about the bees that are such a vital link on our organic smallholding. We’ve learnt a lot over the the past three years and had some wonderful experiences – tasting our very first honey harvest and enticing our first swarm to come and live with us are particularly memorable. We’ve also begun to understand just how much bees are under threat and how important hobby beekeepers are to their survival so join us as we continue our journey into this captivating world….
